The Comfort Crew for Military Kids (CCMK), a 501(c) 3, provides military children and their families with a variety of programs and resiliency resources designed to meet the specific needs and challenges of military life: multiple deployments, reconnecting as a family after a time of separation, visible and invisible injuries of a returning parent, and grief over the loss of a loved one. CCMK delivers proven strategies to prepare every military child for the unique challenges they face so they positively impact themselves, their families and our country.

Since 1990, The Botshibelo Poverty Alleviation Village, also known simply as Botshibelo, has worked to become a self-sustaining community and, more importantly, a place of safety and family to South Africa's AIDS orphans and economic orphans. The community includes an orphanage, school, village, medical clinic and organic farm.

Botshibelo, founded by Marion and Con Cloete in 1990, is dedicated to improving the lives of the economically challenged, especially children who have been orphaned for various reasons. Using the traditional African village (and its inherent ubuntu values of cooperation and joint responsibility) as a model, the community works together to break the cycle of poverty and bring hope, safety, education and sustainable growth to all residents.
