EDITORIAL REVIEWS:

"...Trevor Romain understands how horrible homework can be. And he knows how you can do yours without throwing up. As you laugh along with Trevor's jokes and cartoons, you'll learn important homework truths...{it's} designed to make kids laugh while recognizing the importance of school assignments, this is...great... for parents and educators to share with those who think homework is the bane of childhood."

Jo Frost, Global Parenting Expert, Bestselling Author, Television Personality

"...have been so popular with kids and parents..."

"The punchy videos offer kids lessons on ways to cope with a variety of issues ..."

Austin Family Magazine, February 2005

"There's something Mr. Rogers-ish in the way Trevor Romain approaches kids and tries to help them with their problems."

"...should be on the shelves of every school and community library in the country."

Midwest Book Review

"In a playfully slapdash style, Jack and Skye contend with schoolyard toughs, geometry homework, and the loss of loved ones. A live-action Trevor Romain...tossing out advice and scribbling helpful maxims ("Start with the hardest assign-ment!" and "Keep a journal!") amid the scenery...The homework episode is par-ticularly ambitious..."

My three kids all enjoyed it, the oldest girl going into 8th grade, the macho pre-teen boy, and the wiggly ADHD boy. I think we have already watched it three times. A little cheesy, but a lot of fun at a kid level. We will still need more help for the older kids to help keep their focus.

Kids have fun with the "Curse of the Golden Goat" and the upbeat song. This video reminds me of an animated Indiana Jones with a message other than sheer entertainment. Highly recommended!

My 9 year old son totally enjoys all of the Trevor Romain products. We have borrowed his books from our library and DVD's from Netflix. Now we are building our own collection. We were introduced to Trevor Romain while researching books on stress and anxiety to help my son deal with difficult situations. My only negative comment is... since the dvd's were sold through a vendor and not amazon, I had to pay shipping on each dvd instead of one shipping charge for all three dvd's purchased.

I have been showing this video to my 3rd and 4th grade Lunch Bunch kids, and it's gotten lots of guffaws. The boys especially seem to appreciate the "gross" humor parts. And Skye's line about the blue ribbon at the county fair had all my 4H kids chuckling. And almost everyone has been trying the math problems from the tomb of doom. Although Lunch Bunch is not a formal study skills group, they all seem to get at least one or two ideas out of it. I will use it in SS next year.

“We received the homework DVD and my granddaughter is loving it, as are her friends. She also has the one on fear. These are such good videos with great messages that are fun for the kids to watch.”
