Trevor Romain has a real gift at getting across his message in simple words that children can easily understand. But there is nothing silly or simplistic about his words of hope, aimed to help children cope with challenges such as death, divorce, and facing fear, to name a few. Composer and producer Carl Thiel is equally gifted in his ability to turn Trevor's lyrics into songs, then to match the songs themselves with a diverse group of Austin artists, who bring them to life. "One of a Kind" is delightful from start to finish.
