Interview

I was recently interviewed by ABC4 in Salt Lake City. Thought I'd share the experience.

You know what? I started gettin' on my own hiney by making comments like: "Geez Shannon! What took you so long to purchase these videos?" and other such self-depreciating comments ...
and then I stopped and laughed! Timing is everything =P
This was absolute, complete perfect timing viewing the above interview! I will be receiving the above video, as well as the other videos RIGHT WHEN I (WE) HAVE NEEDED THEM MOST!

I am so excited!!

What a great message for kids! And done in a clever way that will catch them, unawares perhaps. I have ordered one for my granddaughter who is now in a healthy friendship group after having been involved with one of the groups every parent and grandparent dreads (the ups and down, the exclusion of others, etc.) Thanks for the lovely good work you are doing. Oh, also, I'll now start reading your blog and hearing your voice in the South African accent - I'd always just read it in my accent before. LOL

(CLAPPING, CLAPPING)
It was great.
Great to hear about your work.
Great to hear about your passion for your job.
Great to hear your voice. :)
(My favorite English teacher was South African. For me, the South African accent IS English).
Felicidades, SeƱor Romain.

Young man -- Did you catch the Challenge Day program on Oprah this week? Powerful messages to high school kids. You might consider Goggling these dynamic people. I suspect there is a match between you and your organization and them.

Ah, but what do I know...I am just an old gypsy woman
