Welcome To Trevor's Blog

Welcome to my blog. I am one of the luckiest people in the world because today a twenty year-old dream has come true. The dream was to have a book and video series to help kids have better lives. I was told countless times that it wasn’t possible to do what I had in mind. I had over 400 rejections before my first book was published. (I now have over one million books in print in 14 different languages.) Today I am happy to announce the release of the first three videos in the Trevor Romain Collection. They are, “How To Do Homework Without Throwing Up”, “Bullies Are A Pain In The Brain” and “What On Earth Do You Do When Someone Dies?” The series is brilliantly animated by Horseback Salad Entertainment and the stunning music score was done by my good friend Carl Thiel (who worked on Spy Kids, Once Upon A Time In Mexico and others). None of this would have happened if it weren’t for my wonderful partners Fred Miller and Ronda and Woody Englander at The Comical Sense Company who made the series possible. (To order the videos visit my home page www.TrevorRomain.com.)

The purpose of this blog is to share my good fortune, news, thoughts, drawings and observations. With the help of this on-line journal I hope to share challenging, inspiring and even silly and sublime ideas with those who have nothing else in the world to better to do but read my blog. I must warn you however that I am dyslexic (this will be discussed in the days to come) and my spelling is ‘orrible (as my grandma used to say).

I will be out of the country for the next three weeks, but my blog will continue daily with excerpts from a forthcoming book I have written (for grown-ups this time) about dealing with unexpected obstacles in life. In the future I intend this blog to be filled with drawings, inspiration, humor and honesty, so look for all of that when I return.

Happy holidays!
