Located in the Piney Woods of East Texas, J. L. Everhart Magnet School, an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme campus, educates a diverse student body through the efforts of dedicated teachers. In May 2009, the students studied what it means to be a caring person. Each student then wrote a personal scenario showing caring in action. After much thought and discussion, the classes selected their best scenario. This book represents these thoughts of the students by the amazing illustrations and linked by beautiful edits. As a work of love and joy, the children hope their thoughts will help all students become more caring so that their schools, homes and communities can become better for everyone. The book is a dual language book in Spanish and English.

This book embodies all that The Trevor Romain Company stands for. I am so proud that our company was asked to partner with Longview ISD to work on this project. It was an honor for me to illustrate such heartfelt words of caring and compassion and for our company to publish this book.
