New Boston Administrator
Wins Cutting-edge Curriculum
January 28, 2009 — From a pool of thousands of, a New Boston Administrator has won a new, state-of-the-art, physical education curriculum. Shiela Neal, Director of Instruction for New Boston ISD, won the curriculum in a drawing at the annual Texas Association of School Administrators Midwinter Conference and Education Expo, beating out thousands of other conference attendees.
The curriculum, called “Move Everybody,” is published by the Austin-based Trevor Romain Company and was designed by long-time P.E. teacher Pam “P.E.” Atkins. The program is one of the first of its kind to target all facets of the Texas Educational Association’s health and fitness standards.
