Cotulla ISD Administrator Wins Counseling Program
January 28, 2009 —A Cotulla ISD administrator has won a cutting-edge counseling program from a pool of thousands. Rosa Maria Torres, Finance Director for Cotulla ISD, won the curriculum in a drawing at the annual Texas Association of School Administrators Midwinter Conference and Education Expo, beating out over three thousand other conference attendees.
The new counseling program, called Taking the “Duh” out of Divorce, is published by the Austin-based Trevor Romain Company. The progam premiered at the conference and is the first counseling program of its kind to address the pain and suffering caused by divorce.
